Day 1:Welcome to Amman

Welcome to Jordan! Greeted at the airport by our local team, assistance with arrival procedures, and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2:Amman - Jerash - Jordan's forest park

The day begins with a visit to the Greco-Roman city of Jerash, formerly known as Gerasa, located in Jordan and inhabited for over 6,500 years. This impressive archaeological site, inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage tentative list in 2004, unveils well-preserved ruins, temples, theaters, triumphal arches, and paved streets. Notable features include the Oval Forum, the Cardo Maximus, and the Arch of Hadrian. Additionally, visitors can explore two theaters, the Temple of Zeus, the Nymphaeum, as well as remnants of residences, baths, and the city wall, providing insight into Roman daily life and architecture.

Lunch is hosted by a community of women dedicated to preparing local cuisine, an initiative aimed at enhancing their quality of life while preserving culinary heritage.

The afternoon is dedicated to exploring Jordan's forest park, a natural sanctuary nestled amidst the mountains, where shaded trails, fragrant pine trees, and the murmuring of streams create a peaceful atmosphere. This setting contrasts with the hustle and bustle of Jerash, offering a rejuvenating retreat in the heart of Jordanian nature.

Day 3:Amman Tour -Madaba

In Amman, the Children's Museum offers an enriching and playful experience for young, curious minds with captivating interactive exhibitions. Situated in the heart of the city, this museum is a must-visit for an educational and entertaining family day out, allowing children to explore history, culture, and science in a stimulating manner.

After a leisurely lunch in Amman, visit the Citadel, perched on the hill of Jabal al Qala'a, to enjoy panoramic views of the city's historic seven hills. The Citadel also features Roman and Umayyad remains to explore. Then, descend into downtown to discover the Roman Theatre. This site houses two small museums: the Museum of Popular Life, tracing the evolution of life in Jordan over the past century, and the Museum of Folk Costumes, showcasing traditional Jordanian and Palestinian costumes, as well as jewelry and tools.

At the end of the day, head to the Christian town of Madaba. Participate in a mosaic-making workshop, where you'll learn traditional techniques of this ancient art and create a unique piece. Then, delve into local craftsmanship by crafting your own sand pot, using traditional molding and decorating methods. Take home a personal creation and an authentic memento of your experience in Madaba.

Day 4:Nebo, Wadi Ibn Hammad, Petra

We will continue our itinerary towards Mount Nebo, offering a panoramic view of the Jordan Valley and housing the Memorial of Moses, adorned with Byzantine frescoes.

Next, we will explore Wadi Ibn Hamade accompanied by a Bedouin guide. This three-hour hike through the canyon, shaped by millennia of water erosion, will mesmerize us with its dazzling natural colors. At the end of our journey, upstream in the valley, we will be welcomed by a cook preparing a meal with local produce.

Lunch in the canyon with your Bedouin guide.

We will then hit the road again to visit Little Petra, a site chosen by the Nabateans 2000 years ago to serve as a natural caravanserai, hosting wealthy traders from all corners of the world

Day 5:Petra

Petra, also known as the "Rose City," is a historic and archaeological city located in southern Jordan. Famous for its monumental structures carved into the pink sandstone, notably the Khazneh (or Treasury), a richly decorated mausoleum, Petra is accessed through the Siq, an impressive 1.2-kilometer gorge leading directly to the Khazneh. Among the most remarkable monuments are the Qasr el-Bint, an imposing temple, and the High Place of Sacrifice, perched atop Jebel al-Madhbah, offering spectacular views of Petra and Jebel Haroun.

This morning, we will enter the Petra site through the main entrance of the City, traverse the famous Siq, and uncover the Treasury of Petra. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed during the excursion. We will then reach the Greco-Roman amphitheater and ascend to the Royal Tombs. The tour will also include the Byzantine Church, the Great Temple, and the Qasr al-Bint.

The day will conclude with dinner at a Bedouin family's home, where we will participate in preparing the traditional Maklouba meal. The duration of the visit is approximately six hours, with two hours accompanied by a guide.

Day 6: Wadi Rum

This morning, depart for the Wadi Rum desert. A 4x4 off-road vehicle will pick you up at the Visitor Center for a desert excursion to your camp. For four hours, delve deep into the lunar landscapes of the desert by 4x4.

Along the way, make a stop at Um Fruth, a small fifteen-meter-high arch, accessible and passable. Away from the tourist crowds, continue southward, crossing two valleys with stunning white sands and rocks streaked with blue, pink, and white (Umm Muqur).

Enjoy lunch in the most remote and wild part of Wadi Rum.

Next, choose between a camel ride or a camel trek in Wadi Rum.

End the day with a traditional dinner in the heart of the Wadi Rum desert

D7: Dead Sea

Today, we embark on our exploration of the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth's dry land, located 429 meters below sea level. This vast salt lake, with a salt content ten times higher than that of the sea, allows people to effortlessly float. Although often referred to as "dead" due to its toxicity to fish and other evolved organisms, the Dead Sea is home to microscopic organisms and is renowned for the benefits of its waters and mud in relieving skin ailments and rheumatism.
After a leisurely lunch on-site, you will have the opportunity to experience the unique buoyancy in this salty water and enjoy the therapeutic virtues of its mud.
