Early in the morning, you'll set off toward the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth’s surface at 429 meters below sea level. This extraordinary body of water, with its salt content ten times higher than that of regular seawater, allows you to float effortlessly, offering a truly unique experience. Although it’s referred to as a "sea," it is, in fact, a vast salt lake. Over the past 50 years, the Dead Sea has lost a third of its surface area, and it continues to shrink. While it is toxic to larger organisms like fish, microscopic life such as algae and plankton thrives in its waters.
The mineral-rich water and mud of the Dead Sea are renowned for their therapeutic properties, especially for skin ailments and rheumatism. Enjoy some time relaxing by the water, floating in the buoyant salty water, and indulging in the healing mud baths known for their skin benefits.
Lunch will be enjoyed by the shores of the Dead Sea, surrounded by the tranquility of this natural wonder.
Next, you will visit the historically significant site of Mount Nebo. Situated at nearly 800 meters above sea level, this sacred mountain offers breathtaking views of the Jordan Valley and the Holy Land. The site holds great religious importance for the three monotheistic faiths and is believed to be the location where Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. You will explore the Moses Memorial and the beautifully preserved Byzantine-era mosaics from the 5th century, which provide a glimpse into the region’s ancient past.
The journey continues with a visit to Madaba, a town rich in biblical history. Known for its 14 Byzantine churches, you will visit St. George’s Church, famous for its 6th-century mosaic depicting the oldest known map of Palestine and Jerusalem, offering a fascinating look into the area's ancient geography.
Lunch will be hosted by a local Christian family, where you will experience traditional Jordanian hospitality and cuisine in an authentic setting.
After the day’s explorations, you will return to Amman for an overnight stay, reflecting on the deep cultural and religious significance of the sites visited.
Noche en Ammán.
Today, you will head north to uncover the rich history of Jerash, the ancient Greco-Roman city known in antiquity as Gerasa. This site flourished during the Roman Empire and is considered one of the best-preserved provincial Roman cities in the world. Hidden beneath sand for centuries and restored over the past 70 years, Jerash showcases the grandeur of Roman urban planning. Wander through its impressive colonnaded streets, marvel at the towering hilltop temples, and explore the beautifully designed theaters, spacious public squares, baths, fountains, and massive city walls punctuated by gates and towers. Every corner of Jerash tells a story of its prosperous past.

Afterward, the journey continues toward Ajloun. The drive offers stunning scenery, with rolling landscapes dotted with olive groves. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the Ajloun Castle (Qala'at ar-Rabad), a 12th-century fortress built to defend against Crusader invasions. Perched atop a hill, the castle offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, including the Jordan Valley, the Sea of Galilee, and the hills of Judea.
End your day in Ajloun, where you’ll enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a cozy cottage, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature.

For lunch, you’ll savor a traditional dish called "Sajiyya", a hearty and flavorful combination of meat and vegetables sautéed in a rich sauce, offering a true taste of Jordanian cuisine.
